Rattray Marsh Conservation Area
About
Rattray Marsh is Mississauga's only remaining lakefront marsh, a 90-hectare conservation area with boardwalk trails winding through wetlands, forests, and along the Lake Ontario shoreline. A peaceful haven for birdwatching, photography, and nature walks — home to herons, swans, and diverse waterfowl.
Our Story
Saved from development in the 1970s by a community campaign led by the Rattray Marsh Protection Association, this conservation area is now managed by Credit Valley Conservation and remains a vital habitat for wildlife.
