About

Evergreen Brick Works is a revitalized 19th-century industrial site in the Don Valley, now a community environmental hub. Features the Don Valley trails, a year-round farmers' market (Saturdays), gardens, public art, a skating rink (winter), and a café. A stunning example of urban renewal, surrounded by ravine nature.

Our Story

The Don Valley Brick Works operated from 1889 to 1989, producing bricks used in many of Toronto's historic buildings. Evergreen Canada transformed the site into a showcase of sustainable urban renewal, opening to the public in 2010.
