Burlington Beach (also known as Beachway Park) is a 2km strip of sandy beach along Lake Ontario near the Burlington Canal. With a paved trail, a historic lighthouse, canal views, and swimming access, it's a quieter alternative to Hamilton's busier beaches. Part of the Waterfront Trail connecting Burlington and Hamilton.
Our Story
Beachway Park was once home to a cottage community and an amusement park. Today it's a protected natural beach and a key link in the Waterfront Trail, preserving a rare stretch of Lake Ontario shoreline.
